ERAC offers professional learning opportunities to support personalized learning through webinars, vendor resources, Train the trainer, and on-site professional development sessions.
Participating member districts and independent schools are notified of opportunities as they arise. Costs are usually shared with the host being responsible for the teacher release, location and catering costs and ERAC being responsible for the co-ordination and sometimes travel accommodation and fees of the instructor (as required).
At times ERAC and a vendor will jointly plan a professional learning event. The costs for participation are unique to each situation and will be outlined in any such announcement.
New Initiative for 2015-2016
ERAC in partnership with several vendors is pleased to offer a program of professional learning options that includes onsite sessions or webinars to suit district needs. Districts can request professional learning support for a whole day or half day that focuses on the educational implementation of a single or several products.
ERAC has created a new position for Professional Learning. This allows ERAC to offer increased access to professional learning resources as well as direct support.
