ERAC NEWSLETTER

Pro-L Request

ERAC offers professional learning to support major province-wide initiatives such as the Data Base Bundle. Participating member districts and independent schools are notified of opportunities as they arise. Costs are usually shared with the host being responsible for the teacher-release, location and catering costs and ERAC being responsible for the travel, accommodation and fees of the instructor.

In addition, member districts and independent schools may request ERAC to send workshop leaders to trainers to conduct events on a cost recovery basis with the host being responsible for all direct costs.

At times ERAC and a vendor will jointly plan a professional learning event. The costs for participation are unique to each situation and will be outlined in any such announcement.

In order to request ERAC to host a professional learning event in your district (or region), please complete this form.

"Another benefit ERAC has provided is leadership in new developments such as digital media and databases. ERAC is also taking the lead in pulling together districts to create synergies for future developments such as cloud computing."
