ERAC Resource Evaluations
ERAC will group similar products and resources together to maximize efficiency. Most resources will be evaluated within a three month period from the date of submission.
ERAC carries out formal evaluations of educational resurces and tools using trained, BC specialist-teachers. Learn more about ERAC training. ERAC's evaluators use the consortium's rigorous evaluation process, which was adapted from the existing learning resource evaluation process. Learn more about ERAC's Evaluation Criteria.
Evaluated learning resources will be included in ERAC's public resource collection. The full product assessments will be available to members though a password-protected entry to the ERAC Resource Collection.
ERAC accepts the following resource types:
- Textbooks
- Novels
- Video
- Educational Software
- Workbooks
- Reference
- Manipulatives
ERAC accepts resources in the following specific media:
- Digital
- Streamed
- Audio
ERAC does not evaluate classroom tools or peripherals. Suppliers should contact ERAC regarding provincial opportunities for these products.
