Apple Mac OS X 10.5 "Leopard" ERAC has finalized an agreement with Apple that will permit schools and districts to order Mac OS X 10.5 “Leopard” at the maximum volume discounted price. This represents a significant discount for districts that require a limited number of licenses. Under the agreement orders need to be batched at the district level and sent to ERAC who will in turn route them on to Apple. Ideally ERAC would like to see districts aggregate their volumes from their schools and then submit orders for a quantity in excess of 100. We appreciate that this will present a challenge for some districts and independent schools. ERAC will accept orders for smaller volumes and then consolidate them as required to ensure all orders get access to the $39.00 price. Ordering details and procedures are available through your district’s designated software contact. This opportunity is only available through to March 30, 2008.
