E-Reader Challenges and Benefits

February 2012

The digital world of E-Books is flooding the market, but before jumping on board with both feet, inform yourself first with ERAC's E-Reader report. This growing industry brought many questions to the forefront for ERAC, especially how it will impact our schools. To answer this question and more, ERAC has written a detailed report that is now available to ERAC members. It addresses various issues including the future direction of E-Readers, as well as the common challenges, options and guidelines for assessment. You can also read the report in the new ERAC Commons. Look for the blog called "eBOOKS" or you can directly access here. In the commons, you'll be able to comment and add any further information to make the report even more relevant and current for all. We welcome all feedback or additional information you'd like to share about your district's initiatives with E-Readers.

"We have no education staff in the district office. We have no one to go research some new product. We have to rely on someone else, like ERAC to do this work for us." – in regards to ERAC's evaluation services"
