Vendors Find Value With ERAC

August 2011

Vendors of education products are always looking to increase their sales and strategically develop their target market. ERAC can help play a part in that. Pat Sheaves, Account Manager for ERAC, notes that there are many ways that ERAC can be of benefit to vendors.

"The more that vendors work with ERAC and understand our processes, the more confident they become in getting their products to the right people, at the right time," explains Sheaves.

By providing a single point of access to the BC K-12 market and offering promotional and marketing support, vendors are realizing the advantages of working with ERAC. With 58 School Districts and over 100 independent schools to reach with products, vendors can end up spinning their wheels and increasing sales minutely.

"ERAC becomes that single point of access for the vendors, as well as a single promotional channel to all their customers," notes Sheaves. "This makes it easier for the vendor, and also for ERAC members as there only needs to be one point of contact."

And Educators agree, as the BC-teacher evaluated products provide un-biased and quality Evaluation Reports, giving them the necessary information in product purchase. ERAC Evaluated is highly accepted as the provincially required "Locally Approved" in school districts province-wide.

With proven processes for evaluation, acquisition and implementation of learning resources, tools and products in education, ERAC is an efficient and effective solution for vendors selling in the BC K-12 market.

"ERAC provide us with a value that we couldn't get otherwise, especially when we're dealing with large corporations like Adobe and Microsoft. People like me are constantly being bombarded by vendors. I usually tell them to email me information and I look at it on a case by case basis, but I follow ERAC's lead."
