Symantec Anti-Virus Solutions
ERAC has finalized an extension to the previous Symantec agreement which will provide ERAC members with 2 Symantec anti-virus solutions: Symantec Endpoint Protection and Symantec Protection Suite. The agreement provides discounted pricing for license purchase and maintenance renewal costs. These anti-virus solutions and support provide licensing and maintenance renewals for an initial term of 24 months, with options to renew the existing agreements for another two-year term.
Note: June 9, 2014 is the latest date to acquire software licenses under this agreement. The license period extends from the date of purchase for 1 or 2 years, dependent on the licenses acquired.
Symantec Anti-Virus Agreement Extension
This agreement is part of a Corporate Supply Arrangement (CSA) between the Province of BC and Software House International, the CSA provider for Symantec. It is open to all School Boards and Group 1, Group 2 or Distributed Learning K-12 Independent Schools. Each School Board or School must have a signed Corporate Supply Agreement.
Check www.pss.gov.bc.ca/csa/pdfs/approved_csa_users.pdf to determine if your School Board or Independent School has a signed agreement.
If not, a signed agreement must be executed before you can order Symantec software. Please contact email@example.com or 250 387-7300 to obtain a copy of the MOU template.

Each ERAC member must read and agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the CSA as well as their ERAC membership. This pricing is confidential and not to be disclosed.

Note: The Competitive Upgrade price is available to any school or school district currently using any other anti-virus product.
The Symantec anti-virus licenses are a perpetual license, with a term applied only to the maintenance
and updates. It will accommodate multiple operating system instances within a virtual environment and
can be deployed and managed centrally over a network.
Standard Software Warranty provisions apply. Support for existing licenses would be treated as a "renewal". Return policies are 30 Days. To obtain additional information about an implementation or upgrade, please contact Peter Welgan at Software House International.
