National Film Board

TO
June 30, 2012

ERAC has established a ground-breaking agreement with the National Film Board (NFB) to provide, as part of your ERAC Membership, access to the NFB’s online collection of French and English Canadian films.

The NFB recently created The Online Screening Room specifically for teachers. This collection of 1,000 films, clips and trailers is growing by the week as the NFB is constantly adding more content. The NFB site also includes teachers' study guides and lesson plans for many of the films available through this agreement. Over the next year, ERAC will work with the NFB to enhance the educational aspects of the site. It will add features to make it easier for teachers to search and find clips or films that align with specific grades and BC curriculum.

The NFB has created a new way to access their information and features. It’s as easy as 1-2-3. 1. Create profile, 2. Register to CAMPUS, and 3. Go to the Welcome Page. Their newly launched CAMPUS Screening Room offers “super easy-to-use” education tools, as well as simple on-line access to a large collection. To get going, check out there “Quick Start Sheet” by clicking here.
