Operational Software

Throughout the year, ERAC offers a number of agreements for Operational Software. It selects the software based on consultation with member districts through input from the Software Advisory Committee, responses and suggestions from districts in the annual ERAC software survey, and District Contact and teacher recommendations. Further, as a consortium, ERAC has strong purchasing power so it can negotiate larger price discounts for all districts and drive down districts’ software costs.

Operational Software is the software that helps the business of education and learning run in schools and districts across the province. ERAC works with a number of large and small software companies to create agreements that refine business processes, reduce the administrative burden associated with software licensing and create secure educational technology environments. ERAC reviews its list of Operational Software on an annual basis.
