Educational Software

Throughout the year, ERAC offers a number of agreements for Educational Software. It selects the software based on consultation with member districts through input from the Software Advisory Committee, responses and suggestions from districts in the annual ERAC software survey, and District Contact and teacher recommendations. Further, as a consortium, ERAC has strong purchasing power so it can negotiate larger price discounts for all districts and drive down districts’ software costs.

Educational Software is computer software with the primary purpose of teaching or self-learning. This software can be relevant to educators and/or students. It is important to ERAC to create agreements for Educational Software that has evidence of relevance and sound pedagogy in the classroom. ERAC reviews its list of Educational Software on an annual basis.
